FAQ

What's the difference between In-Stock and Pre-Order?

In-Stock means the item is sitting in the office right now and you can pick it up immediately. Pre-Order means we've sold out of that item and it'll be batched with the next print run — typically 2–3 weeks turnaround with Tactive.

How do pre-orders actually work?

When you pre-order, your order is logged just like a normal purchase. Jude collects all the pre-orders for that item, then sends a print run to Tactive (our local Indianapolis print partner). Once everything's printed, you'll get an email/text from Jude letting you know it's at the office.

Name-brand items (Nike, Port Authority, CamelBak, etc.) ship on their normal manufacturer lead time — usually a bit faster than printed items.

Where do I pick up my order?

The Roots Realty office. Jude will let you know specifically when your order's ready, and you can grab it next time you're in.

Where's my discount code?

Each team member has a personal code — Jude or Max sent yours when the store launched. They all look like FIRSTNAME100 (e.g., IAN100, KYLE100). Apply it at checkout. Spend $175, get $100 off the total.

What sizes do you carry?

Most apparel comes in S, M, L, XL, 2XL. Toddler tees come in 2XS / XS / S. Hats and beanies are one-size adjustable. Specific sizing is shown on each product page.

If you're between sizes, default to your usual fit — Comfort Colors and Port Authority both run pretty true to size.

Can I swap or return something?

Yes — within reason. Since this is an internal team store, just message Jude directly if something's wrong (wrong size, defect, etc.) and we'll work it out. Custom-printed items are harder to return so try to nail the size up front.

When's the next print run?

Print runs go out roughly every few weeks once enough pre-orders pile up. Jude announces the cutoff in advance — keep an eye on the green banner at the top of the Pre-Order page.

Who runs this store?

Jude is on the merch operation day-to-day — orders, print runs, pickups. Max owns the parent shop. Tactive (Indianapolis) handles all our printing.
